Jamming out...

pajama style!

A night out- Thanks Mom!

So normally I wouldn't blog about a night out, but we had SO much fun last night. It isn't often we get to get out without Miles. Thanks Mom! We went to a late Valentines dinner with some good friends of ours. We were able to renew our vows and spend some quality time together. Great times! Next week we are going Salsa dancing. Can you imagine? I will not be forgetting my camera that night.

Paris

We're home from Paree! We had such a great time! We are already talking about when we want to go back. We stayed at the Westin which was pretty much in the middle of everything. Great location! We enjoyed all the touristy sites and ate at some of the most delicious French restaurants. Contrary to what many people have told me, the French were SO friendly! I don't know if it's because we are so used to Europeans now or what but they were so helpful and nice. We even had one restaurant owner let Miles run all over his place. The staff was playing with him and giving him cookies. It was such a fun time!

Here are some pics from our trip.

It's Valentines, we're at the Eiffel tower...Who wouldn't share a smooch? Actually, we had our friends chanting "kiss! kiss! kiss!"

This is the famous Louvre which houses many famous sculptures and paintings.

Inside the Louvre was the original Mona Lisa painting. So here we are trying to do our Mona Lisa smiles in front of...The Mona Lisa!

Here is the Arc de Triomph. It was in the middle of a GIANT roundabout. The kind where if you aren't careful you can just keep going round and round. We dared not cross. We learned later we could of taken a tunnel underneath to reach it.

Of course you know what this is! The Eiffel tower is just one of those things where you don't realize how awesome it is until you are staring right at it. It was gorgeous at night. It was like a light show!

This is the bathroom in our hotel room. I loved the view.

Brad and I standing in front of the Notre Dame.

Our friends Nathan and Marissa. They came with us and we had such a blast with them! Can you see the Eiffel tower way in the back?

Our last night and we are making a toast.

The ball pit

So after many days of being stuck inside and many more to come, we decided to get Miles a ball pit. This thing is so much fun and it only cost $20 off Amazon! Miles had a blast this evening and he wore him self out like I've never seen before!

So happy to have his own ball pit!

Already fell and bumped his head. Mommy to the rescue.

He got so sweaty jumping around and rough housing with Daddy that we stripped him of his clothes.

He is a goner. Worn out!

Look who's walking!

It only took 16 months, but my baby is officially a walker! It came out of nowhere too! I noticed yesterday and today he was becoming a bit more brave and taking a couple extra steps here and there. All of a sudden tonight it just clicked!
Go Miles!

Come on Spring! Don't be shy!

What happens when you have freezing and short days, no Target or American-anything nearby, and a girl who is dying to shop??  Me spending way too much money at Amazon!
I just love that site so much! You get such great deals on there and beats bidding on e-bay any day. However, I am not allowed to buy anything more from there until March. Brad has cut me off.

I'm not going to complain though because we have so much fun stuff in line for February! We are going to Paris for Valentines weekend! Brad has a long weekend off work so we are flying out Feb 13-16. I'm so excited to see Pareee! We are meeting some friends there that are stationed in England and some friends of ours that live here in Stuttgart are going as well. It should be really fun!
Also, my mom is coming out for about 10 days shortly after that. We really don't have too much planned for when she is here. Just hanging out and she's going to watch Miles a couple nights for us so we can go to a party. It's been so long since we've had any kind of "adult" night. So we are really looking forward to it (and seeing her too of course! =)  )

Is anybody else dying for Spring to come? It's been freezing here since September and all I want to do is wear some capris and flip flops already! I'm so excited that it's not dark when I cook dinner anymore. The days are getting longer little by little. Come on Spring!
